This was my very first design. I really liked how the image filled the entire page, but that made it hard to allow other elements to stand out.
In this layout I applied different uses of color to try to make the elements of the cover prominent enough.
I almost went with this layout. An issue I faced was getting the title to stand out on a busy background.
This layout is the closest to my final layout. I wanted the image to take up the entire cover. In order to make the title stand out I used a color block underneath it. This is also where I was testing fonts.
